In 1997, Myke wrote a story celebrating the 16th birthday of Scooter the Siamese cat and emailed it to friends. Myke enjoyed writing about Scooter and continued to write and share stories with friends.

Until the end of his life at age 23, Scooter provided many unforgettable experiences that inspired Myke to write more stories. After Myke started posting Scooter’s stories on his weblog, he learned that there are lots of people who enjoy reading good stories about pets. And we have discovered there are thousands of pictures, stories, and videos on the web that can bring joy to all of us.
